I turned out to be winner number 3 and it sounded way to good to be true.
I noticed no 1800 number were provided and I searched to see if a sight was available. Thank you for the other comments above. Hard to believe only 3 nice caring people took the time to help a sucker from sending cash in. It amazes me only 3 out of 1000's who received the same message responded to protect another.

I've been notified by a "Barrister Moro Williams" that my funds are being held by a Finance and Security House in Sheffield UK. I have not been asked for any money yet, but I'm sure from what I've been reading here that in the next email I should be asked. Thanks for sharing.

I found the Moro Williams spamscam in my box today and I was not pleased. It's the first spam I've had on my current yahoo account apart from items I've requested. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I was send this BullS**T too. When I read the email from this lottery. And you need it to contact this man in the UK "Barrister Moro Williams".
I decieded to copy and paste his name in the address bar and this Online Crime web site popped up. I'm really grateful from this info available. Even though I've wouldn't have ever sent any $$$ anyway. Whenever someone claims you won some $$$ and it takes a curtain amount to receive your winnings, tell them to "deduct" the "processing cost" from the winnings and sent a certified cashiers's check. See how fast you get a response. Never give no personal info: Name and address is all is needed to get a certified check no Bank acct.#s or SSI #s.

I just got this Euro Pride lottery e-mail...with the Barrister Moro Williams to contact. I was surprised this was the only site I could find with info. Too bad; I could have used 2.5 million! (and in U.S. dollars...why wasn't the Euro lottery paid out in EUROS?)

At 16/1/06 06:18, Anonymous Anonymous said...

The Euro Pride Lottery Scam continues, but they've changed the Barristers name now to David J Lloyd

BARRISTER MORO WILLIAMS is back (20 Feb, 06)in business with the Euro Pride Lottery scam. He claims his office is in Tottenham Court Road, London, but knowing the road well I know that's untrue. Remember there's no such thing as a free ride, & be suspicious if one is offered to you!

At 16/5/06 01:26, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I also recieved this from Moro Williams on Tottingham Court Road, Not fron the UK I looked up the address and it is listed as an ATM Machine. So I asked if I would be given a PIN number to get my money out!!! The scam names are listed on the Euro Lottery website, which my reply from Mr. Williams had the logo and the link to that website. I don't think they know they included a link to a website that says they are a scam!Beware everyone!!!

They go as far as to use the real cordinator's real name( Richard K Lloyd) Well I'm sure it's these Dregg's of a cesspool scam to get your personal info for ID Theft..Don't Give your personal Imfo out! Oh, I just got the Barrister Moro Williams thing and I am wondering, is there a way of getting these guys to stop playing with people's lives? I did reply, but I have refused to provide my personal information. So I wonder, can anyone out there take this on?

I just received an email from "Barrister Moro Williams" at rowchesterchambers@hotmail.com stating that I won an English Email Award in the amount of $2,500,000USD. The Verification Form looks legit until you get to the line asking for your email password. I emailed back asking why they needed my password, but haven't heard back. I wouldn't send him any money anyway. I'm aware of these scams. It's too bad. I could really use the money right now! LOL

I repleid on the given mail adres
First of all, your sending this to an email adres that is from a gaming website,
not a person. Second of all, I didnt play a lottery game.
Third of all, if you guys are really going to give away free money,
put it on my paypal number cause personal information?
Youve got to be kiddin. If i really won, you would have send me a personal letter.

and $2,500,000 USD ? And you think.. that a sane normal person
is going to believe that.... from an email? xD

And by the way... Dont you guys notice yet that your email adresses,
and moro names are spread over the whole internet as hoax people?
That thousands of people win their sudden prizes with you..
after they pay you first ofcourse?
Cmnon... not even an senile old granny is going to believe this anymore.

:D

These things will never stop. Fortunately, you can google everything these days! I hope no one sends personal info or money via email just like that. Barrister Moro Williams sent the same email to me couple of days ago. Of course, I replied asking several questions and, from what I read in the previous comments, I will not get a response. I see no point playing such a cruel "game", considering that most people could really use this sum of money. But then this is exactly the reason why they keep doing it.

As long as there are people who take these e-mails for face value, there will continue to be crooks who will do this.

I got a message from Moro Williams a couple of days ago. I replied out of interest as I only googled Row Chester Chambers and didn't find this site. I had hoped my luck had changed but alas no! Haven't heard any more so at least I know to ignore any further emails. I think it was the fact they didn't ask for money straight away, so I gave it ago. Idiot.

Thank you for this site. I'm a Filipino currently living in Brunei. I don't really give in to all these scams. I was really skeptical to fill-in the form (plus the fact that they have a lot of misspelled words ...hehehe). First, I don't play lottery and have not joined any online lottery at all. So how could I win ? But who would not want to try this one...since they don't immediately ask for your money ?

With all the doubts on my head I decided to google his company name "ENGLISH EMAIL AWARD INC." But I couldn't find any information. Then I googled the name " Barrister Moro Williams" and I ended up here...thank God ! Confirmed it's a HOAX ! Beware !!!

Below is the copy of the email he sent me.
