Kresoft runs a lottery?

As so often with these Lottery E-Mails company names are misused to lead the reader to believe he is dealing with the real company. Pepsi, Coca Cola and Microsoft are only a few of the names which are used.

This time the Dutch IT-Company Kresoft is being used for the same purpose. Kresoft is not a well know company and appears only to serve the Dutch market. They have set up an email account derrick@derrickkresoft.orangehome.co.uk to suggest that the receiver is receiving the E-Mail for Kresoft, when in reality it's a freemail account with Orange Home.

The impression I get is that the crooks are counting on people not being able to read Dutch when researching the company name. That makes it easier for the crooks to direct potential victims to contacting them at the Freemail accounts they are using:

kresoft@excite.com and gilmacservices@aim.com

It's the typical two step system. Fake Lottery prize and fake Payment Agent or Company. It's designed to milk the victims twice and works extremely well!
