Dennis Walker's artistic Transfer Agent Scam

I have seen this before. It is really original in that it works on the personal level. You are given the impression you are reading the message from a "real" person, an artist with a problem.



But watch out for things like this:

These payments are in money order and they would come to you in your name

This makes you liable under the law!



And this, for example:

send the cash to me via western union money transfer

means you transfer the money to someone in another country, not necessarily Holland. Once it's it's picked up at the other end, the money is gone!



Once the the "customers" report the fraud to the police, "you" are the one who will get prosecuted, because the payment was in "your" name. You "will" be sentenced for fraud! You will also be liable for the lost money you transferred to the crooks.



I have had too many reports from people who have fallen for the "easy" job. They all lost a lot of money and much worse they were also sentenced as criminals!



The real crooks laugh all the way to the bank and remain "honourable" citizens!
